The school year runs for 32 weeks. The schedule, as made up in September, holds for the entire year.
The Suzuki Program and The Advanced Program
Ordinarily, each student is scheduled to attend the School twice a week. In addition to the two-day schedule for the student, parents of beginning level students attend the Parents' Class, scheduled on a weeknight.
Performances, with the exception of Advanced Recitals, take place on Sunday afternoons. Advanced Recitals are scheduled on Saturday evenings.
The entire school schedule is created over the summer, taking into consideration the availability of the students and parents as reported on pre-registration forms. Families applying in the fall will be accepted only if their availability to attend the School fits into the existing schedule.
Start-up Program
Students meet once a week fro two hours in the late afternoon on a designated weekday, ordinarily on Monday for violin/cello and Wednesday for piano.
