Faculty   -   Piano   -   David Smithers   David Smithers has taught at the Bronx House Music School, Great Neck Music Center, School for Strings, Our Lady of Solace, and Transfiguration Elementary School, and the Transfiguration Kindergarten School. Mr. Smithers received Suzuki Teacher Training from Sheila Keats at The School for Strings. He is a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas, Associated Music Teachers League, and the International Reading Association. Mr. Smithers received his B.M. at the State University College at Fredonia and his M.S. from City College of New York.
