Faculty   -   Violin   -   Kathryn Kienke
 
Kathryn Kienke received her B.M. and M.M. from Juilliard, where she studied violin with Leonard Posner, Ivan Galamian, Oscar Shumsky, Dorothy Delay, Joseph Gingold, and Louise Behrend. She has concretized throughout America, Europe, and the Far East. She has given a debut recital in Alice Tully hall and has soloed with the Dallas Symphony, Utah Symphony, Garden State Symphony, and Santa Barbara Chamber Symphony. Ms. Kienke started teaching at 14, serving as her mother’s assistant. She has also served as Dorothy Delay’s assistant at The Juilliard Prep School. Ms. Kienke has served on faculties of the Great Neck Music Center, Diller Quaile, The School for Strings, and Mannes Preperatory School. Ms. Kienke has written several books combining Suzuki and traditional teaching.
