Sanchie Bobrow received her B.A. in Music Education, with a major in Violin and a minor in Composition. Her composition studies with Noel DaCosta lead to her receiving her M.A. in Composition from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College, where her main teachers were composers Hugo Weisgall and George Perle. Postgraduate violin studies continued with British violinist Ruth Waterman. Ms. Bobrow has been on the violin faculty of the School for Strings since 1987. She has also served as a Suzuki Strings Coordinator at the Academy of Arts at Wagner College since its inception in 1998.
